Chp.2 "Unknown Commands"
The mechanical voice reverberated throughout the arena, catching the attention of many of the spectators that were about to leave. The man grinned again, more to himself than to the spectators.
"This machine, Gerret, will respond to a voice activated command as long as the command is imprinted in its internal memory. If anything other than one of those particular commands ar spoken..."
He paused to look back at the machine, then faced towards the crowd again.
"...it will go into randomization, choosing something thats logical to its so-called 'mind'."
The machine blew another stream of steam from its back, taking a step forward with one of its large bipedal legs while its head sweeped left to right, its 'eyes' looking like they were staring at all of them.
"FiVe-HuNdReD aNd ThIrTy TwO iNdIvIdUaLs ApPeArInG oN sEnSoRs."
The man chuckled, looking back at it again.
"Seems that I don't even have to say anything for it to analyze a situation!"
A rumbling sound came from the machine as it looked straight forward as it had before.
"TwO pOsSiBlE oPtIoNs Of EnGaGeMeNt ReVeAlEd."
"No options shall be executed, Gerret.," the man said, smiling with self-satisfaction at the crowd.
The head of the machine lowered, a claw twitching as its eyes locked onto both him and the crowd.
"No SuCh OpTiOn ExIsTiNg In PrOgRaMmInG."
